Calm Before the Storm
Looking south around the cove, the wild waves call my name in a rushing roar to my right. The sand is cold and wet and I pull my heavy-knit sweater closer around us. The sky is holding a basket of rain. I’m walking, and I know I will return to the warmth of my beach house.
